Get ready to blast off early this summer as the Adventure Science Center in Nashville unveils a major overhaul to Wonders of the Universe, a popular exhibit gallery on the second floor.
What’s New?
A model of NASA’s Mars Curiosity rover — which is the size of a small car — will be displayed in a Mars diorama, offering visitors an immersive experience of the Red Planet.
Wonders of the Universe also features a life-sized comparison of NASA’s Hubble and James Webb telescopes, showcasing their contributions to space exploration.
The exhibit will also include a variety of interactive displays and the chance to touch a real Mars meteorite.
Plus, a New Planetarium Show!
In addition, the the science and technology center’s Sudekum Planetarium will start showings of Mars: The Ultimate Voyage. This new, animated show transports viewers deeper into the wonders of the universe, highlighting real NASA research and initiatives to prepare the next generation of astronauts for travel to Mars.
