There’s now a dedicated pediatric emergency department at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center! The new pediatric ER offers specialized pediatric emergency care to children and teens of all ages and is housed in a separate location within the hospital’s emergency department. It features a separate waiting area and six, state-of-the-art examination rooms, which are fully equipped to care for the unique needs of children. The family-friendly environment is sure to help ease your child’s fears as he receives emergency care, too. Physicians, nurses and advanced practice providers are specially trained to provide for the unique needs of children.
“As a pediatric emergency physician and as a father, I know how important it is to have access to fast and convenient child-specific emergency care,” says Eric Schuck, M.D., TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center Chief Medical Officer. “Children have unique medical needs and the opening of our new, child-friendly pediatric emergency department will help ensure kids and their parents have greater access to high-quality, pediatric emergency care right here closer to where many of our patients live and work.”
The pediatric ER also has access to a full service hospital, including the 24/7 subspecialty care available at The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial.
