Williamson Health’s flagship location, Williamson Medical Center, has been recognized as Tennessee’s Top Maternity Hospital according to the Newsweek list of 2024 America’s Best Maternity Hospitals.
The hospital has also been included in Newsweek’s 2024 list of World’s Best Hospitals and has been recognized as a four-year champion for being named among Newsweek’s list of World’s Best Hospitals from 2021-2024.
Both prestigious lists are available on Newsweek’s website.
Only Tennessee Hospital to Receive Five Ribbons
To help expectant families find the right facility to deliver their soon-to-arrive child, the Best Maternity Hospitals ranking features hospitals that were awarded either four or five ribbons based on an evaluation of their performance. Williamson Medical Center was the only Tennessee hospital and one of 168 nationally to receive five ribbons.
“We are honored that Williamson Medical Center has been recognized on Newsweek’s 2024 list of America’s Best Maternity Hospitals,” said Phil Mazzuca, Williamson Health CEO. “The compassionate and exceptionally talented group of caregivers behind our nationally recognized obstetrics, neonatal intensive care and maternal care services are the driving force behind this distinction. We are grateful for their service and this award.”
