Tomato Art Fest

This annual art and music festival features art, food, live music, contests and more dedicated to all-things tomato at Five Points in East Nashville (1106 Woodland St., Nashville). Festival hours are Friday. Aug. 7 from 5 – 10 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. The parade is on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. on S 13th Street between Fatherland and Holly St. East End United Methodist Church is hosting KIDfest again this year at YCAP (1011 Russell Street) on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Activities will include inflatable fun, sensory play, tomato themed crafts, hair glitter and temporary tattoos. There’s also plenty of contests, a kids art show, a Tomato 5K and more.
