We’re only a few weeks away from Independence Day 2026 and it’s time to plan how you’re going to celebrate. America 250 in Nashville will be a two-day party and include the largest fireworks and drone display ever put on in Nashville’s history. This semiquincentennial anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence means nationwide celebrations, barbecues galore and one big block party. Here’s how to celebrate:

Nashville’s celebration of America’s birthday will be the largest Independence Day celebration in Nashville history — and it’s all free. The two-day festival on July 3 and 4 will feature all-star performances and one of the largest fireworks and drone shows in the nation on the fourth synchronized to a live performance from the GRAMMY-winning Nashville Symphony.
JULY 3
Friday, July 3 will feature three stages, along with games, inflatables and interactive activations at the Amazon Family Fun Zone in Walk of Fame Park. Live music will take place at:
- Southwest Airlines® Stage at the Amazon Family Fun Zone (121 Fourth Ave. South)
- The Green at Riverfront Park Stage (100 First Ave. South)
- Ascend Amphitheater Stage (310 First Ave. South)
JULY 4
On Independence Day, five stages will be featured plus the Amazon Family Fun Zone at Walk of Fame Park. Live music will take place at:
- Southwest Airlines® Stage at the Amazon Family Fun Zone
- The Green at Riverfront Park Stage
- Public Square Park Stage near the Historic Metro Courthouse (Union Street and Third Ave.)
- Jack Daniel’s Broadway Stage at First and Broadway for the main show

• Get your tickets now for RED, WHITE & BOOM at the Adventure Science Center (800 Fort Negley Blvd., Nashville). Widely considered the most family-friendly way to do the Fourth of July, explore the science center, catch a live science show then head out to the lawn for fireworks. Adults are $45, kids are $35. • Celebrate America’s 250th birthday at the PATH OF GLORY at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage (4580 Rachel’s Lane, Hermitage). The installation of 1,776 full-size U.S. flags is displayed across the presidential site through July 15. Sponsor a flag in honor of a loved one, with the flag going to the honoree after the installation concludes. • CHEEKWOOD (1200 Forrest Park Drive in Nashville), provides a great way to celebrate 250 years of America. Bring the kids (of all ages) to see the expanded outdoor G-scale train display, “America the Beautiful: National Parks & Landmarks by Rail.” Reserve a timed-entry ticket in advance is required.
• “TENNESSEE VOICES: AMERICAN STORIES” at the Tennessee State Museum (1000 Rosa Parks Blvd.) is an exhibit showcasing the creation and development of America. • Heading to Pigeon Forge for the Fourth of July this year?
