Kick off spooky season with a celebration of all things creepy and crawly at Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary (545 Beech Creek Road, Brentwood) from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet their slithering and skittering wildlife ambassadors and find out why bugs, snakes and bats are important, fascinating, amazing and maybe not so scary. Nature Conservancy Cave Program Director, Cory Holliday will be onsite for a special presentation on bats. Registration includes a bat box to build and take home. Cost is $40 per two people (includes one bat box kit). Children ages 2 and younger are free.
