Think you love pickles? Then check out the Middle Tennessee Pickle Festival, returning at Hop Springs in Murfreesboro on Saturday, Sept. 5.
The one-day outdoor festival features pickle-themed vendors, food trucks, shopping, live music and family-friendly activities.

Think you can eat 20 pickles in 3 minutes?! Come give it a shot for a chance to win $100 at the Pickle Eating Contest starting at 1:30 p.m.
The festival features more than 150 vendors from six states, 15-plus food trucks, live music, eating and drinking competitions, and family activities including a free petting zoo, train rides, pony rides and face painting.
Attendees can also browse handmade art, jewelry, candles and boutique items, along with creative pickle-themed food and drinks like pickle pizza, fried pickles and pickle pina coladas.
The 83-acre Hop Springs venue includes walking trails, a creek and a dog park. Dogs are welcome.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs $5 to enter (ages 10 and younger get in free). Admission is cash only. For more information, visit hopspringstn.com.
