Who’s ready for a family campout in Murfreesboro? Join on Saturday, September 26th at 2 p.m. at the Wilderness Station in Barfield Crescent Park.
It’s backpacking and camping, but made as family-friendly as possible with the great staff at Outdoor Murfreesboro to lead you. Expect guided night hikes, sleeping under the stars, campfire fun and more.
It all begins with an easy 1-mile hike into the campground. Once there, park staff will be on-hand to help you set up and settle in. Various activities will be planned throughout the night for you to choose to participate in or just relax in front of the campfire. Plus, dinner and breakfast will be provided and are included in your registration fee.
The cost is $10 for those 13-years-old and up, $5 for children 5 to 12-years-old, and those 4 and under are free.
