Make a Splash at Dog Pool-ooza!
Forget the dog park—this is pool time! The Margaret Maddox Family YMCA hosts its sixth annual Dog Pool-ooza on Wednesday, Oct. 8, giving Nashville’s four-legged friends one last chance to make a splash in the outdoor pool before it closes for the season. Small and medium dogs (under 50 pounds) swim from 4-5 p.m., followed by the big dogs (over 50 pounds) from 5-6 p.m.
The event is open to Y members and non-members, and registration is $20 per dog. Space is limited to 50 dogs, so don’t let your pup miss the pool party! Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, with records presented at entry, and each dog must be accompanied by an adult. (Sorry, humans — no swimming with the dogs!)
Margaret Maddox Family YMCA, 2624 Gallatin Pike. Registration is first-come, first-served.
