Franklin’s Act Too Players gives kids the opportunity to be a part of a “tale as old as time” with its spring 2018 class and production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr.
ABOUT ACT TOO
Act Too offers theater production classes designed to give each student a well-rounded theater experience. Participants learn a variety of skills while becoming involved in the beginning of the rehearsal process to performing in a fully produced show with lights, sets and sound. Act Too productions take place at The Franklin Theatre.
ABOUT BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. is an adaptation of the timeless story of transformation and tolerance. It carries the message of the importance of looking past the exterior of each other; what counts is what’s on the inside. The show includes some of the msot popular songs by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice.
The spring production is open to students ages 10 – 13. It runs Feb. 5 – June 3, 2018. Classes take place Mondays. Choose one of two time slots: 4:15 – 5:45 p.m. or 5:45 – 7:15 p.m. Tuition is $93 per month during the semester.
