Local kids can journey down the rabbit hole with Bravo Creative Arts Center’s upcoming production of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. This theatrical production brings to life the story of Alice and her madcap adventures featuring updated songs from Disney’s animated movie in a fast-paced take on the classic story.
The last call for Alice in Wonderland auditions is Saturday, April 9, and auditions are by appointment only. Ages 13 and younger can try out for a role for any of the tale’s wacky characters like Cheshire Cats, Mad Hatter, March Hare, King of Hearts, Rock Lobsters, Sea Animals, Bunnies, Royal Cards, Roses and Unbirthday Partiers.
Kids who get into the show will need to be available for weekly rehearsals taking place in April, May and June (Bravo is located at 227 Hillsboro Road, Frnaklin). Dress rehearsals take place the third week of June. Public performances take place June 24 – 26 at Father Ryan Center for the Arts.
