Cheekwood has something magical in store for your little bookworms and train enthusiasts! They’ve just unveiled a brand-new Storybook Trail in the Turner Seasons Garden, featuring the beloved classic, The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper. Your kiddos can stroll through the gardens, soaking in nature while reading this uplifting tale — page by page — on beautifully illustrated panels.
And here’s a fun fact: The Little Engine That Could is the very first book children receive through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a fantastic literacy program that mails free books to kids from birth to age 5.

But wait — it gets even better! The Storybook Trail leads straight to the TRAINS! exhibit, making it the perfect outing for train-loving tots. Plus, the new storyboxes allow for seasonal book swaps, keeping things fresh all year long. Parents and caregivers will also find handy reading tips along the way to make storytime even more engaging.
