Where Every Family Matters

“Are My Kids on Track” Book Release

From birth and through adolescence, learn how to take care of your child's spiritual heart.

You do everything you can to raise your kids well – feed and clothe them, educate them, nurture them … but what about their hearts? That’s the question local authors and child counselors Sissy Goff, David Thomas and Melissa Tevathan will answer in their new book, Are My Kids On Track? The book launches on Tuesday, February 14 with a party and book signing at K. McCarthy, 4121 Hillsboro Pike in Green Hills from 6 – 9 p.m. The authors are co-owners of Daystar Counseling Ministries in Nashville, where they’ve individually and collaboratively helped kids and their parents navigate safely through the growing up years. Between them they have published numerous books; Mr. Thomas is the author of the best-selling Wild Things: The Art of Nurturing Boys.

Identify Spiritual Milestones

With the release of  Are My Kids On Track? the authors help readers identify “the 12 emotional, social and spiritual milestones” every child needs to reach. Meet the authors, get your book signed and enjoy festive treats and giveaways at the launch party. You can also download a sample “read” of the book at raisingboysandgirls.com. Also, check out Daystar Counseling speaking engagements for more ways to further your understanding of you children.
