Are you thinking 'picnic?' Have one in the vineyard!
Arrington Vineyards reopened May 1 with safe social-distancing quidelines in place, with the unmatched beauty of the countryside in tact. Arrington is reopening in phases, per state guidelines. That means tha the indoor/covered buildings are not open for seating just yet.
The Hills Are Alive
Outdoor adjustments in place at Arrington include managed guest capacity determined by the amount of available space on the grounds. Picnic tables are spread six feet apart throughout the hillside acreage and intended for no more than six guests at a time. They are first come, first served. It is possible to arrive at the vineyard only to be turned away if it is at capacity. The vineyard is not able to take reservations for visits. Follow Arrington's Facebook for ongoing guest updates. You can also call the vineyard to find out about capacity at 615-395-0102.
In addition to managing guest size, all employees on Arrington's grounds are equipped with masks and gloves and hand sanitizing stations are ample throughout the grounds. Guests can purchase wine at serveral set-up outdoor spots, but wine tastings are not yet taking place and are part of a later phase (however, a pre-selected wine flightis available for purchase). Food Truck Fridays are happening, and while Arrington posted on Facebook that music will return when they feel it's appropriate, their online calendar show that just may be Friday, June 5 with the relaunch of Jazz in the Pavilion.
Keep up with all of the decisions on their social media.
Hillside hours at the vineyard are currently Monday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Arrington is located at 6211 Patton Road in Arrington.
