There’s a whole lot of creativity on tap for kids at Monthaven Arts & Cultural Center (MACC) in Hendersonville through its Art After School program.
ART AFTER SCHOOL OFFERINGS
The after-school classes kick off Monday, Aug. 13 for students in grades 1 – 12. Offerings include creative art journaling, sculpture, mixed media, painting, drawing, anime art and more. There’s even a “Mythical Creatures & Character Design” for grades 4 – 8.
Fall semester prices are $270 per class for MACC members, $324 non-members. You can also sign up now for spring semester classes. Those are $285 members, $342 non-members.

There’s more! MACC offers a homeschool class this fall: “Art Basics & Explorations in Art History” for grades K – 5 takes place Tuesdays from 2:30 – 4 p.m. or Wednesdays from 1:30 – 3 p.m. starting Aug. 14 (price TBA).
In addition, MACC has an array of adult art classes this fall, and a new Mommy & Me option is coming soon.
