As we inch closer to the new school year, organizations are stepping forward to help students with school supplies who may otherwise not have them.
Families, parents and returning students can enjoy a “Back-to-School Backpack and School Supplies Giveaway” at His Holy Hill Church (1630 South Church St., Murfreesboro, suite 112) on Monday, July 31, at 5 p.m.
The event includes:
- free backpacks
- school supplies
- ice cream
- face-painting and more.
Murfreesboro City Schools will open to students for a half-day on Monday, August 7, 2023. The first full day for City students will be on Tuesday, August 8. For a more in-depth look at the City School calendar, which includes separate breakdown dates for certain grades, click here.
