Where Every Family Matters

Bigger, Better Cheekwood in Bloom

Nashville's most colorful spring celebration takes place now through April 7, with special family activities every Saturday and Sunday.

Nothing announces, “Springtime in Nashville!” quite like Cheekwood in Bloom. With 150,000 colorful beauties popping up, it’s an annual sight to behold. Tulips, crocus, daffodils, magnolias, hyacinths and other flora adorn the grounds — spectacular family photo ops!

Saturdays include gardening workshops, family art activities, live music, children’s storytelling, and more. Sundays kick off with Tai Chi classes in the gardens, live music, brunch, yoga, plein air painting and behind-the-scenes tours. See the full schedule of weekend activities below.

NEW FOR 2019

Cheekwood in Bloom features a few new things this year including being open seven days a week (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.), and the beer garden is open Sat – Sun from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Sundays feature two new additions from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. First up is Blooms & Brunch. It’s in Café 29 featuring a full brunch buffet for $19.29 adults, $9.29 ages 10 & younger. For an extra $20, you can get bottomless mimosas.

Second is Plein Air Painting. Art enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels can join the Chestnut Group for outdoor group painting sessions — bring your own supplies.
