BABY-LED WEANING

She'll discuss various approaches to introducing solid foods, tips for navigating picky eaters, new recommendations for introducing allergens, best foods for Baby and more.
BLOOMA BREASTFEEDING EDUCATION

This class covers the stages of breastfeeding from birth to the early days and weeks at home; how to know with confidence that you're making the perfect amount of milk for your baby; the many positions for breastfeeding so you can find your best approach to latching, feeling rested and supporting healthy milk production; tips on pumping, going back to work while sustaining your nursing relationship and how to introduce a bottle; how to avoid common bumps in the road.

This class aims to prepare you for your upcoming childbirth whether you'll be birthing in a hospital, birth center or at home, with an OB or a midwife. It's a complete course in an interactive setting. The class covers the following: evidence-based practices for normal, safe birth; commonly suggested interventions and what they're used for; hands-on comfort to support your birthing body; medications and pain-management techniques; making informed choices for your birth; navigating the birth process; how to make the most of your labor support team; support for breastfeeding basics and bonding with Baby.

Do you know what to do if your baby starts choking? Or what to do if your child has a seizure or your baby winds up face down in a pool? Instructor Grace Ghazarian, RN, and founder of Precious Hearts, covers the basics of caring for your child in an emergency. Topics include Infant/Child CPR, Choking Rescue and Intro to the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
