Bravo Presents “The Lion King” Sept. 27 Weekend

Hakuna Matata! Bravo Creative Arts Center presents "The Lion King" this weekend at Franklin Special School District.

For families with little dreamers and big imaginations: Step into the magic of the savanna with Bravo Creative Arts Center’s 78th Musical Production. “The Lion King” is a heartwarming musical that brings the world of the African grasslands to life.

Bravo, the non-profit creative arts program for kids and teens, has a long-running tradition of producing excellence in shows. “The Lion King” provides the opportunity for the young theater group to thrill young audiences again.

“The Lion King” is Perfect for Kids

This show is just right for kids who love imaginary play. The story will take you on a journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again.
It follows a cast of unforgettable characters in a powerful story about courage, friendship, and finding out who you are and where you belong.

With colorful costumes, the show has unforgettable songs like “Circle of Life,” “Hakuna Matata,” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” It will ignite your child’s imagination and just may leave your whole family inspired.

Showtimes at Franklin Special School District’s Performing Arts Center (located at 205 Eddy Lane, Franklin) are:

  • Saturday, September 27 at 2 p.m. & 7 p.m.

  • Sunday, September 28 at 2 p.m.
