Local teen, 17-year-old Thomas Day, did a disappearing act two weeks ago. He was all set to perform in the quarterfinals on season 15 of the talent variety show, America's Got Talent, and then suddenly … he just didn't. The Houdini-like trick left fans scratching their heads. But all that changes tonight.
NBC has announced that Day — a senior and nationally ranked football kicker at Brentwood High School in Brentwood, Tennessee — is indeed on the slate of performers for tonight's semifinals. The first round of semifinals includes the acts Alan Silva (an aerial performer); Archie Williams (singer); Brandon Leake (poet); Broken Roots (singing duo); Dance Town Family (dancers); Double Dragon (singing duo); Malik Dope (drummer); Roberta Battaglia (singer); Shaquira McGrath (singer); The Spyros Bros (trick artistry); and Thomas Day (singer). One more round of semifinalists will take place next week before AGT moves on to the finals where only 11 acts will perform and one winner will be crowned.
Be sure to tune in tonight to find out the real reason why Thomas Day went missing. And be sure to download the AGT app so you can cast your votes!
