Brentwood Virtual Tree Lighting Dec. 7

The beloved local tradition has gone virtual this year

Let the tree be lit! The John P. Holt Brentwood Library holds its 22nd annual Christmas tree lighting for 2020 on Monday, Dec. 7 p.m. In years past, the tree has been lit with the community present and performances by local high school choirs. This year, due to Covid-19 and the need for social distancing, the ceremony is virtual.
The program starts at 5:30, live streamed on the City of Brentwood's Facebook and YouTube pages. It will also be rebroadcast throughout the month on Comcast Channel 19 (otherwise known as Brentwood TV or BTV). A reading of The Polar Express will take place along with a reading of A Creature Was Stirring and Ravenwood High School Choir will provide music.
