Caves have long been a part of Irish folklore and mythology since ancient times, so what better place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Friday, March 17 than inside one? The Caverns will host a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration with traditional Irish music. Performers include The Nashville Celts and The Caverns Irish Dancers. In addition, enjoy delicious Irish food and refreshments and more.
More About St. Patrick’s Day at The Caverns
Headliners The Nashville Celts combine traditional Irish instrumentation with original song craft. The ensemble is comprised of singer and fiddler Maggie Lander; Ric Blair on vocals, guitar, piano, bodhran; Fiachra O’Regan on uilleann pipes, whistle and tenor banjo; and Matt Menefee on five-string banjo, mandolin, dobro and vocals.
What’s more, this underground St. Patrick’s Day celebration includes a high energy, high stepping performance by The Caverns Irish Dancers, as well as musical performances by special guests as the evening progresses.
Throughout the night, guests will have the opportunity to purchase and enjoy traditional Irish dishes cooked right on the spot. And of course, what would St. Patrick’s Day be without Irish beer? The Caverns Tavern bar will be stocked with Guinness.
The most festive attendees will have a chance to compete in a Best Irish Flair competition in which three lucky winners who impress The Caverns judges will take home these prizes:
- Tickets to an upcoming show with lodging, transportation to and from venue and more
- Gift certificate from Mountain Goat Market in nearby Monteagle
- Merch pack from The Caverns
Reserved seats are $55. On-site camping near the venue is available with the purchase of a camping pass. RVs, pull-behind campers and oversized vans are welcome. Tickets and packages are on sale now at TheCaverns.com.
