Spring it nigh, and it’s high time to get outside in the wilderness. The Land Trust for Tennessee’s Glen Leven Farm is the spot for a series of free outdoor community events starting Saturday, March 9.
This Saturday, the gates will be open at Glen Leven Farm from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. for March Community Day and the theme, “Spring Blooms.” The Master Gardeners of Davidson County will be at the event, sharing knowledge about plant care, insects, plant identification in your yard, and more. During the event, you can hike the one-and-a-quarter-mile Glen Leven Nature Trail, greet the donkeys, and hang out on the lawn with a frisbee or a picnic. The urban Glen Leven Farm is 10 minutes south of downtown Nashville and is situated on 64 acres.
Additional Community Days will take place on Saturdays, April 13 and May 11. Register (appreciated but not required) here for the event. Glen Leven Farm is located at 4000 Franklin Pike in Nashville.
