If you want to give back to your community this year, check out Special Kids’ annual Cornelius Christmas Program. This program allows groups and individuals from the community to sponsor a local family in need this holiday season who is served by Special Kids, a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs in Murfreesboro.
Sponsors can pick the size of the family they wish to help — expect to spend at least $100 per person in the family you’re anonymously paired with. You’ll be able to purchase gifts from a list of specific needs from each family as well as a few wish-list goodies from the kids. You’ll need to drop off your items by the beginning of December.
