Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA) hosts a series called Perspectives, which are open forums for the Nashville community. Each installment features "thought leaders" covering topics like parenting, education, resilience and faith.
The fall Perspectives sessions takes place Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. Admission is free. The fall speaker is Anthony Ray Hinton, author of The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row (St. Martin's Griffin; 2019). Hinton spent 30 years on death row for a crime he didn't commit. Hinton's dialogue will include issues of racial injustice, prison reform and faith.
CPA is located at 2323 Old Hickory Blvd., Nashville. The Perspectives discussion takes place in the church sanctuary. While the event is free, CPA requests you register at cpalions.org/perspectives.
