The 2017 Miss La Vergne Pageant & Baby Show takes place Saturday, Oct. 14, and the registration deadline has been extended! You can register for just $25 from now until Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 5:30 p.m.! After that, late applications are accepted through Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 4:30 p.m. with a fee of $35.
The competition takes place at La Vergne High School Auditorium. This year, judges rate participants on both casual and formal wear. All pageants begin at 2 p.m., starting with the Little Miss contestants and ending with the Miss La Vergne contestants. The winner for each age group is crowned at the conclusion of the pageant so group photos can be taken at that time. Participants must check-in onsite from 1 – 1:30 p.m. Each contestant receives a T-shirt, too. In addition, there’s a rehearsal including a small dinner for all participants is Friday, Oct. 13. This year, the winner of the 1983 Miss America pageant, Debra Maffett, serves as the pageant mentor, and Channel 5 Newscaster Vicki Yates serves as one of the pageant judges, too.

- Young Miss La Vergne: Grades 3, 4, 5
- Junior Miss La Vergne: Grades 6, 7, 8
- Miss La Vergne: Grades 9, 10, 11, 12
