Where Every Family Matters

“Dear Evan Hansen” Wants Your Selfie

Submit a selfie to "Dear Evan Hansen" and you might be seen on a special piece of artwork at TPAC when the show lands here Sept. 10 - 15.

It's one of the most popular Broadway musicals in recent years, it's coming to TPAC next month and you could find yourself on a giant work of art in the TPAC lobby while the show is in town.

Dear Evan Hansen wants you "to be found" in its artwork on tour across the country by way of mosaics comprising selfies of the show's fans. The mosaics are unique to each city, so the one that will be in the lobby at TPAC will be made up of photos of fans from the Nashville and Middle Tennessee community. What's more, you'll be able to take photos with the mosaic in TPAC's lobby during the run of the show. In addition, selfies submitted to the show may wind up onstage vis a vis the production's visual projections.

Before you fill out the online form, snap a selfie with these instructions:

• Your photo must be a selfie of yourself taken by yourself. Do not submit yearbook photos or professionally taken headshots.
