Nashville Skating Academy has been teaching Middle Tennessee families how to skate for the past 30 years. Our family-first approach to coaching introduces skaters of all ages to the ice, making learning fun. Skaters are encouraged to join us on the ice and start their journey to becoming the skater they have always wanted to be. Located in the midtown area of Nashville, Nashville Skating Academy has the classes and the schedule to work for your family.
All of our programs and classes are coached by certified LTS USA and US Figure Skating Coaches, we pride ourselves on offering the best coaching and support for all of our students whether they are just starting out or have competitive skating aspirations.
Our Programs and Classes
Learn to Skate USA. Ages 3-99. Put the fun in FUNdamentals, skaters of all ages learn the foundation skills they need to be successful in skating and beyond. Learn to Skate USA is supported by US Figure Skating, US Hockey and US Speed Skating for the many social, health and developmental benefits associated with skating. Nashville Skating Academy offers both group Learn to Skate classes and Learn to Skate Mini sessions.
ASPIRE. Ready to take your skating skills to the next level? ASPIRE is a bridge program for skaters who have completed Learn to Skate and desire to train as a figure skater. Skaters are introduced to the foundation classes taught in NSA's Advanced Figure Skating Program.
Advanced Figure Skating Classes. NSA offers a full range of figure skating classes for beginners through elite skaters. Our class schedule offers a full range of on and off-ice classes designed to support the training of any skater competitive or recreational. All of our classes offer a beginner through elite training level option.
Private Lessons
All of the coaches at Nashville Skating Academy are certified and trained through Learn to Skate USA and US Figure Skating. Coaches offer private lessons to those skaters who wish to accelerate their training and skills through 1:1 skate coaching.
