Discover “Adventures in Agriculture” on April 13th

Families are invited to participate in this free, educational and enjoyable event for all ages.

Adventures in Agriculture is set to take place on Saturday, April 13th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lane Agri-Park in Murfreesboro. Hosted by members and partners of the Rutherford County Agriculture Community, the event offers hands-on activities highlighting agriculture’s impact on everyday life.

Located at 315 John Rice Boulevard, the event aims to educate the community about local agriculture, featuring farmers sharing insights on animals, crops, homegrown foods and handmade products. Admission is free, and donations for the Rutherford County backpack program are encouraged.

Teachers from Rutherford County have a chance to receive a $25 gift certificate. The day includes live animal exhibits, food displays, gardening information, a combine simulator for crop harvesting simulation and heritage skill demonstrations. In addition, there will be live entertainment from Cowboy Dan.
