Big Band Dances

Big Band Dances take place every Saturday in summer through August 9, at Centennial Park’s Event Shelter (2500 West End Ave., Nashville). A live big band provides the music while you and your kids learn a different dance style. Food trucks are on site, or you can bring a cooler. If you’re new to the swing-era dance steps or just need to knock the dust off your dancing shoes, there’s always a free lesson for everyone at 7 p.m. and the evening’s big band takes over at 7:30.
