How does a nice hike in the winter woods followed by hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows sound? Come by Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary (545 Beech Creek Road S, Brentwood) for departure times at 9:30, 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. Hikes last approximately 30-45 minutes, with two difficulty levels to choose from. Pets not permitted. Cost is $11 online ($13 at door).
These special family-friendly nature outings happen Dec. 23, Dec. 27, Dec. 30, Dec. 31, Jan. 2, Jan. 3, Jan. 10 and Jan. 17.
