Wild About Fungus

Learn the basics of mushroom cultivation and enjoy a guided hike at Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary (545 Beech Creek Road, Brentwood). They will cover log selection, timing, spore selection, inoculation methods, care of the logs, harvesting and storage of the mushrooms. All this will be covered while the group inoculates their own logs. Happens from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Cost is $40 for 2 people. Must register.
