Light up your night with Zoolumination! Enter a realm of wonder where mythical creatures and wildlife come to life in stunning artistically crafted scenes throughout the Nashville Zoo (3777 Nolensville Pike, Nashville). With new designs and more than a thousand lanterns (some 100 feet long and 50 feet high!), the country’s largest Chinese lantern festival is spread across 60 acres with elaborate displays of your favorite animals, holiday-themed scenes and even a 200-foot-long dragon.
Zoolumination at Nashville Zoo and Ice Skating
The Smashville Ice Rink (presented by the Nashville Predators) is back (an extra $10 for members; $12 for non-members). Plus, special entertainers perform each night at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. in the Amphitheater. It’s open now through Jan. 4, 2026 and then on Thursdays – Sundays, Jan. 8 through Feb. 8 from 5 – 9 p.m. Tickets start at $25 for adults and $21 for ages 2 – 12 (parking is $10 for nonmembers).
