From "Wheels" to "Waterworks" to the "Super Slide," there's something for everyone at Discovery Center.

The Discovery Center is a perfect place to kill some time if you’re a parent in the Boro. It’s affordable and there’s TONS to do. Check out all the current exhibits they have available for your little one below.

Located at 502 SE Broad St in Murfreesboro, its hours are Wednesday – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit explorethedc.org. 

Featured Exhibit at Discovery Center

Try out surfing, snowboarding and kung fu. Scramble your way through a climbing canyon. Make your flycycle flap its wings. Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action runs through May 8, 2022.

This featured exhibit encourages a physically active lifestyle by introducing kids and families to a variety of fun-filled activities! Test your balance, strength, coordination, and endurance.

5 Senses
Featuring a larger-than-life eye, nose, tongue, ear, and hand, the 5 Senses exhibit is full of interactive displays to explore your senses.


Train Depot
All Aboard! Future train engineers can dress up as railroad engineers, buy a ticket, and explore the Depot.

Firefighters, get ready to take a ride on our ever-popular fire engine. Put on your hats, pull on your boots, and climb aboard our Firetruck.

Tiny Town & TotSpace
Explore how people work, live, and play together in our pint-sized Tiny Town! Features a Publix, Tennessee Pediatrics, Music Store, Post Office and workshop. TotSpace fosters your crawler or toddler’s brain development through interactives that will grab their attention and keep them busy!


Come investigate what water can do! Pump water up, dump it down, pool it, dam it and let it flow.


The Wheels gallery is full of opportunities for problem-solving, make-believe, and motion. Change, a tire, drive the truck, or perfect your paper rocket design.
