With summer around the corner, now’s the time to equip your kids with the skills needed to swim safely. Because of the growing need in Rutherford County, Excel Aquatics now offers swim lessons at two Murfreesboro locations beginning this month: Sports*Com (2310 Memorial Blvd.) and Patterson Park Community Center (521 Mercury Blvd.).
Excel Aquatics Classes
Designed to prepare the younger swimmer (ages 3 and older) to be safe in the water, the classes also teach kids the skills necessary to eventually transition to a year-round competitive team or the Swim U program. Classes include Beginner 1 and 2, Advanced 1 and adult lessons. In addition, the Parent/Tot class for ages 6 – 36 months introduces wee ones to the water and helps them get comfortable in it. Furthermore, lessons are held Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Find a detailed list of each level of swim classes at the website.
