Murfreesboro has a lot of places for kids and families to frolic in the summertime. If you’re needing to mix things up from your usual trips to The Discovery Center, Cannonsburgh Village or strolls on the Murfreesboro greenway, don’t forget that the Patterson Park Community Center is tucked away on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd (formerly Mercury Blvd.) and always has things for kids to do.
Check out the game room with rows and rows of pool and ping pong tables, two basketball courts, racketball, pickle-ball and the best indoor water park in the county. In addition, the facility has community events each month.
