Get ready to “fa-la-la-la-la” and spread holiday cheer while supporting local kids. Fannie Battle Caroling for Kids celebrates its 102nd anniversary this year, and your family can sign up to go caroling through your neighborhood.
Caroling takes place from Dec. 1 – 24, and it’s super easy to participate. Simply go door to door in the neighborhoods of your choice to sing and collect money. Donations benefit the Fannie Battle Day Home for Children, which provides affordable, high-quality child care to at-risk youngsters. Registration is now open.
OPEN HOUSE: THURSDAY, NOV. 1
In addition, if you attend the Caroling for Kids Open House on Thursday, Nov. 1 (from 5 – 6 p.m.), you can learn more about the home’s oldest running fundraiser and how your family or business can participate. You’ll also get a tour of the home where you’ll discover more about Fannie Battle’s mission. Furthermore, Fannie Battle will recognize more than 20 groups that have been participating in Caroling for Kids for more than 25 years.
The open house is free, but RSVP at caroling@fanniebattle.org. Fannie Battle is located at 108 Chapel Ave., Nashville. Learn more at 615-228-6745, ext. 117, or fanniebattle.org/caroling.
