Calling all aspiring triathletes ages 5 – 14. Swim, bike and run your way to the finish line on Sunday, June 2 during Williamson County Parks & Recreation's Fins, Gears & Feet Kids Triathlon.
It all takes place from 7 – 9 a.m. at the Indoor Sports Complex (920 Heritage Way, Brentwood). Athletes are divided into groups based on age (as of race day). Ages 5 – 6 swim 50 M, bike one mile and run a half mile; ages 7 – 8 swim 100 M, bike two miles and run one mile; ages 9 – 10 swim 200 M, bike three miles and run one mile; ages 11 – 14 swim 300 M, bike four miles and run 1.6 miles. Find the paths for the leg run part of the triathlon online, too.
All participants receive a T-shirt and a medal. Awards are given to the top finishers in each age group, too. Pre-registration is required and there are no refunds. Cost is $35 per child.
