FitDowntown Series Continues with Yoga at The Frist June 26

In addition to an all-levels yoga class, all attendees will receive a ticket to the museum.Β 

FitDowntown, a program of the Nashville Downtown Partnership (NDP), has teamed up with Movement Lounge, By Yoga Muttz to offer a summer series of fitness events in and around the downtown Nashville area.

Next up is a morning of yoga hosted on the Frist Art Museum Lawn on Sunday, June 26. In addition to an all-levels yoga class, all attendees will receive a ticket to the museum.Β 

This is the second year FitDowntown has organized and hosted unique events of this nature. At this time, there are three more events (details below) remaining for the first half of the summer series, and the second round of locations and events will be released later this year.

The FitDowntown Events are $15 per event, and a discounted season ticket pass is also available. To purchase, go to theΒ Movement Lounge App.Β Each class, taught by a Movement Lounge, By Yoga Muttz, instructor, is 60 minutes long and is followed by an additional activity. Examples include drinks by the pools, access to the art museum, etc.

  • Grand Hyatt Nashville: Pool Side Yoga + PiΓ±a Coladas
    • July 10 β€” 10 a.m.
    • 1000 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203
    • Come for the yoga, stay for the pool and piΓ±a coladas! This class is the perfect way to beat the summer heat! Yoga will be a beginner-friendly flow perfect for all levels. Bring a swimsuit, enjoy a cold refreshment, and hang out after class by the pool!

    • Enjoy yoga in one of Downtown Nashville’s most unique venues, followed by an afternoon of drinks and your favorite nostalgia-filled arcade games.
