You may have noticed a lot of building going on on Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro. One of the sites, Fountains at Gateway, promises to bring to the area more than just extra office space. The mixed-use development will not only have restaurants like Burger Republic, Tom+Chee and more, but there will also be a fitness center, a bakery, a hair salon and a bike locker with a shower for tenants. As if that wasn’t enough. The site also plans to have Board & Brush Creative Studio (a DIY wood sign studio), two putting greens, a splash pad and green space that can host an ice rink, a concert or football games shown on a big-screen projector. The idea of the ice rink really has everyone excited as the only place nearby to go is in Antioch at Ford Ice Center.
