Where Every Family Matters

Free Fishing Day! Saturday, June 11

Bait your hooks and cast a line during a day of complimentary angling action in the mid-state.

Anglers of all ages can enjoy FREE FISHING DAY on Saturday, June 11. On this day only, adults and kids can fish on any body of water in the state of Tennessee without a license!  Free fishing continues through Friday, June 17 for ages 15 and younger.

In celebration of Free Fishing Day, 11 youth fishing rodeos take place on Saturday, June 11 at various spots throughout Middle Tennessee. Kids can bring their own poles and bait and have fun casting a line. Some of the rodeos will have prizes for biggest fish, smallest fish and most fish caught.
