Free Science in the Summer

Register now for free science classes for elementary kids in July.

Adventure Science Center’s helping kids keep their minds sharp in July by partnering with the nationwide GSK Science in the Summer Program.

FREE STEM EDUCATION FOR KIDS

The program introduces scientific concepts in a fun and hands-on setting to elementary-aged students while supporting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning and helping lessen the impact of summer learning loss. The program provides FREE learning for rising second through sixth graders with a “Science of Sports” theme.

Each two-day session runs two hours per day with two time options: 9 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m.

Programs take place at Stratford STEM Magnet School (1800 Stratford Ave., Nashville; July 11 – 14), Whitsitt Elementary School (110 Whitsett Road, Nashville; July 18 – 21) and Rose Park Middle School (1025 Ninth Ave. S., Nashville; July 24 – 27).

Class sizes are limited, and kids must pre-register. To sign up, visit adventuresci.org/scienceinthesummer.
