Where Every Family Matters

Free Tickets to Eric Carle Night

Be on-the-ready Halloween morning to snag free tickets to a unique family performance all the way from Nova Scotia!

Internationally acclaimed Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia brings Brown Bear, Brown Bear & Other Treasured Stories by Eric Carle to TPAC’s Polk Theater on Monday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m.

The performance features three distinct stories including puppetry, dramatic lighting and original music that transform the stage into the magical world of Eric Carle in honor of the 50th anniversary of the classic tale Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do  You See? This particular story engages kids in the identification of colors and objects. Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me celebrates a father-daughter adventure while exploring the wonder of the lunar cycle. Carle’s most popular story, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, follows the journey of a colorful and extremely hungry caterpillar who eats its way through a variety of foods on the path to becoming a butterfly.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Other Treasured Stories by Eric Carle is part of Regions Bank’s monthly Regions Free Day community events. For this one-night-only community performance, Regions is giving away 1,000 tickets to the show!
