The family-favorite Wilson County Fair runs Aug. 19 – 27, and Saturday, Aug. 20 is Special Needs Day at the Fair. From 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on this day, the fair will be open ONLY for special needs individuals and their guests (rain date is Saturday, Aug. 27).
For its August installment of Regions Free Days, Regions Bank joins Wilson County Promotions, Empower Me Day Camp, The Shriner’s and Amusements of America to provide FREE ADMISSION to the Wilson County Fair during Special Needs Day.
Regions is providing complimentary admission to special needs guests and up to two family members or accompanying staff. For additional (more than two) family members or medical staff who also wish to attend, tickets may be purchased at the check-in table. Cost is $8 ages 13 and older, $6 ages 6 – 12, free for ages 5 and younger. Ride stamps are available for purchase for accompanying guests.
In addition to the free gate entry, special needs guests will get unlimited ride bands to enjoy all of the fair’s exciting thrill rides.
In order to get free admission for Special Needs Day at Wilson County Fair, you’ll have to register in advance, and registration runs Wednesday, Aug. 10 – Wednesday, Aug. 17. To secure a spot, download the registration form at EmpowerMeCenter.com or call 615-453-0005.

You’ll need to provide the following with your communication:
• FAMILIES: The special needs individual’s full name and the total number in the group attending, including the special needs individual.
• GROUPS: The name of your group and the total number of people attending, including special needs individuals and/or staff members.
On Special Needs Day, the gates will be open between 9 – 9:30 a.m. ONLY. After 9:30 a.m., gates will close and entrance will no longer be permitted. Rides are scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
