Your family can literally go “gaga” at this year’s Independence Day Celebration in Goodlettsville on Wednesday, July 4 at Moss-Wright Park.
WHAT’S GAGA BALL?
This year’s new addition is a free gaga ball pit that opens at 5 p.m. What is gaga ball, you ask? It’s a fast-paced, high-energy sport played in an octagonal pit. Consider it a kinder, gentler version of dodge ball. It’s played with a soft foam ball, and the object is to hit your opponents below the knees.
There’s more fun to celebrate, too, like Fireman’s Foam, pony rides, face painting and the Activity Zone with a climbing wall, Euro bungee, giant slide, obstacle course and more. Armbands are required for the Activity Zone; they’re $7 in advance, $10 at the gate. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.
