Hey, moms! Need a new place to work out and make new friends? We’ve heard there’s a few crazy ladies around the square ready to help get you in shape. Garage Barre hosts its Grand Opening event on Friday, Sept. 29 at 12 p.m. and you’re invited! This is their new location at 106 S. Maple St. in Murfreesboro. It’s on the square next to Holden’s Hardware. You can’t miss it because their funny sign on the sidewalk will definitely stop you and make you laugh. During the grand opening event, sign up to win a free membership for a year! In addition, the first 50 guests in line get a swag bag! Food is available by the Alley on Main, as well as massages by Serendipity in the Boro, pink Lacroix, prizes and more.
What is Garage Barre?
Garage Barre classes mix athleticism, grace, and the latest innovations designed to sculpt and lengthen the body. The class is a mix of ballet bar, pilates and yoga. Instructors guide you through a specific sequence of movements that tone and lengthen all major muscle groups, rev your heart rate and strengthen your body. The Classic Garage Barre class is 55 minutes set to smile-inducing music. You go through a full body warm up, move to the barre to target quads and glutes, and end with center work to strengthen and define your arms and abs. What’s new at this location is that they now offer the class to ages 13 and older — with a participating parent!
