Gaylord Opryland Celebrates Spring with Events for Kids

The resort hosts its annual spring event with activities for the whole family this March.

There’s a lot to celebrate at Gaylord Opryland Resort this spring. The family friendly destination rings in the season with a host of Once Upon A Spring special events on weekends plus select spring break weekdays.

In addition, there’s tons of fun be had all year round, including lush garden atriums, delicious dining options and an upscale aquatic experience with water slides, a rapid river, a lazy river, adult-only pools and multi-level play structures.

Gaylord Opryland Spring

Gaylord Opryland Resort’s annual Once Upon A Spring event takes place weekends from March 5 to May 8, in addition to weekdays March 21 – 24 & March 28 – 31. The resort will have spring-themed boat rides, sweet treats to decorate (and eat!), an Easter Bunny meet & greet, and more.

Here’s a look at events and activities in the springtime spotlight:

Paint Me a Fairytale

This interactive painting extravaganza and storytelling adventure brings classic fairytales to life. Guests are drawn into magic as Mother Goose herself helps kids of all ages paint storybook favorites.

Spring-A-Long Scavenger Hunt 

Search high and low for clues throughout the resort to solve this spring-inspired scavenger hunt and receive a prize.

Delta Boat EGG-stra Fun Cruise

Hop aboard this evening riverboat ride where guests search for larger-than-life Easter eggs while cruising down the scenic river inside the resort’s Delta atrium.

Bloomin’ Boat Ride

Guests can take an evening riverboat ride down the scenic river winding through the resort’s beautiful 4.5-acre Delta Atrium. Guests will marvel at the natural beauty and spring blooms while learning about the resort’s tropical plants and fish.

Spring Riverboat Ride

This spring-inspired daytime cruise takes guests down the Delta Atrium’s winding river surrounded by tropical plants and extraordinary scenery.

Spring Family Fun Zone

There is a ton of fun to look forward to at the Spring Family Fun Zone with activities like cookie decorating and other crafty projects and games.

Sunshine and Sprinkles Cookie Decorating

Guests can bring creativity to life while indulging in some sweet treats with a fun cookie decorating activity.

Easter Bunny Meet & Greet

The Easter Bunny has checked in to Gaylord Opryland and guests are welcome to hop by this fun meet-and-greet to capture a special moment and take a picture with everyone’s favorite furry friend. Photo packages available.

Hydrobeats Delta Atrium & Fountain Show

Marvel at mesmerizing fountain shows taking place in the resort’s Delta atrium, which incorporate water, music, and lights.

Spring Along Dance Party

Put on your dancing shoes and head to the Delta Atrium to celebrate the start of spring with a lively dance party.

Wildlife Rescue – An Augmented Reality Experience presented by bubly™

Bedtime Bunny Tales
