Every season is reading season, but there is something especially nice about settling down with a good book when the air is crisp, the leaves are showing off and the holiday season is approaching. The Friends of the Brentwood Library fall book sale provides the perfect opportunity to stock up on some welcome literary companions for this time of year.
The sale at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library gets underway Thursday, October 19 for FOBL members and on Friday, October 20 for the general public. As always, on Sunday everything will be half-price.
There will be ample quantities of books in all manner of genres, including fiction, children’s books, science, cookbooks, history and pretty much any other category you can think of. There will also be a selection of movies, music and puzzles.
There is one surefire way to make your shopping experience even more fruitful. You can shop early and get the best selection by becoming a member of the Friends of the Brentwood Library. Friends members have exclusive access to early shopping hours and are invited to special members-only events throughout the year. You can sign up at the link above or in person at the library during sale hours.
