Gracie Barra offers Jiu-Jitsu classes that provide children of all ages real-world benefits. Kids can start as young as age 3.
The GB Kids (GBK) Program teaches self-discipline and provides a way to express oneself. Instructors interact and offer gentle correction to the kids, too. The kids' program is like adult courses, with adaptations and modifications. It begins with the building blocks needed to teach the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu. The structure of the curriculum shows the value of routine, cooperation and self-awareness.
With Jiu-Jitsu, children learn valuable skills. From coordination to goal setting, focus and concentration, confidence, self-defense and fitness. Give your child the chance to learn physical education and develop his character while he trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Not sure if it's right for your child? Visit Gracie Barra online and sign up for a free class! GBK classes take place Saturdays from 10 – 11 a.m. unless otherwise noted.
Kids and teens of all skill levels can sign up for Jiu-Jitsu classes at Gracie Barra Spring Hill. This new location is now open at 2001 Campbell Station Pkwy., Ste. 83. Call 615-505-1818 or visit gbspringhill.com.
