Spring is in the air at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens for the 32 annual Great Spring Art Hop! Taking place Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., bring the kids out to celebrate spring over the Easter weekend with hands-on activities, egg hunting, music and food trucks. The Great Spring Art Hop is a rain or shine event; the weekend sells out, so reserve tickets in advance.

Numerous egg hunts broken down by age groups will take place in different fields!
Littles can enjoy artsy activities inside The Frist Learning Center.
In addition to egg hunts — featuring a total of 36,000 eggs throughout the weekend — families will enjoy seeking out nine, giant wooden bunnies. The bunnies were created by artists Bethany Primrose, Corey Lazarowicz, Caitlin Harris, XPayne, Kelsey Christine, Robi Wolfenden, Amanda Phillips and Rachel Bartek and Alice Shearon.
In addition, children can participate in bunny and tulip-themed arts and crafts. The fun takes place in the Frist Learning Center Courtyard from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on both days.
“The Great Spring Art Hop is a super family friendly, long-standing tradition we are happy to host,” says Nathalie Lavine, vice president of education and outreach at Cheekwood.
